Description

Steve slipped while going uphill and Samuel cried out. He said that they cry out because saying 'don't fall down' makes it not happen.

Interpretation

This makes me think of Ulumo while we were milling - he constantly said 'sanap strong na wokabaut', perhaps there's more to it than a mere platitutude and in saying something they think it can make it happen. Me and Samuel were returning from me giving Enos medicine for his sickness. On the way down I was expecting to find a fairly healthy Enos becuase people were telling me the sick was finished, but I examined him and was surprised to find he was very sick. I asked Samuel about this and he indicated that it was the same thing - in meeting as a community and declaring that his sick was finished it would be so.
