Description
A large group from Torokum and Kokoma were summoned to Nabarumbe in order to discuss vanilla production with a Pal representative from Kamapim (Nacy's company). In the meeting he discussed a desire to make a contract with the people to exclude mining and timber companies from the area. He also discussed ways to better look after their vanilla blocks as well as a desire to get certification for each vanilla block as an organic source. They also took photos and information from the guys in order to register them as official vanilla growers.
