Description

Yagil made an ulag that the pig went into head first. His older kids held the back legs while Yagil made an incision with a new razor, followed by scrambling the pig's ball with a sharpened stick. After the flesh was suitably mangled amongut sog jomu was applied to ward off infection. The process was repeated for the other side. When released the pig was pretty docile and they led it to a post that they tied it to so it could lie down.

Interpretation

The reason Yagil gave for castrating the pig was to stop the pig wandering off and following a female pig somewhere and becoming lost or stolen.
